2022 was the seventieth anniversary of the birth of this legend, of which Frederique Constant is now an established partner. After last year’s jubilee chronograph, Swiss watchmakers Frederique Constant have gone back to basics here with a minimalist, 40-millimetre three-hands timepiece. The hands and the applique hour markers arrayed around a minute chapter graduated up to 60 are luminous, while the dial bears the Healey logo and is a festival of legendary British racing green. It accommodates three central hands, with the red central seconds hand matching the ‘Chronometer’ inscription at 6 o’clock. This denotes the fact that the movement of this edition has been certified as accurate by the Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

With a caseback featuring an engraving of a Healey at full throttle – none other than the famed 100S with the registration NOJ 393 – the watch comes on a perforated leather strap echoing the style of the rally gloves of that period. Each timepiece is individually numbered and shipped in a collector’s case that also contains a miniature replica of NOJ 393.
